Tunica was once the third-largest gaming market in the US; it has since contracted but maintains five major casino resorts. Gold Strike (MGM), Hollywood Casino, Harlow's, and Horseshoe (now live) continue operating. The market serves Memphis (45 min north) and is notable for its extremely low cost of living and veteran gaming workforce.
Tunica County offers the lowest cost of living of any casino market in the US. For experienced gaming professionals, it provides an affordable base with solid operational experience at established MGM and Caesars properties.
At its peak in the 1990s, Tunica was the third-largest gaming market in the US, behind only Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
License: Mississippi Gaming Commission license required. Processing typically 30–45 days.
