The successful candidate will report to the Pastry Chef and their primary responsibilities will include bulk pastry work, and to assist other cooks, Sous Chef, Room Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and the Executive Chef in the efficient operation of the kitchen and of assigned management. The successful candidate has a passion for the production of fine pastries, such as, but not limited to: classic tart dough, puff pastry, multilayered cakes, bite-sized petit fours, different varieties of breads, and pound cakes. The successful candidate will constantly seek to surprise and delight each and every one of our guest with their creations. At least 2 years of bakery and pastry experience required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: May include but are not limited to: Provides superior customer service, positively interacts with customers and employees. Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, choppers, slicers, mixers and grinders, and fryers. Assist with preparation of food. Assists all stations and respective lines as necessary. Ensures that items are fully stocked and equipment is in good working condition. Ensures the proper storing of any foods, including those from a previous function. Ensures the proper closing down of work stations. Ensures cleanliness of working area; reports all equipment for safety failures, hazardous areas and accidents. Ability to inspec
