The main responsibility of the Slot Technician is to maintain and repair all electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Additional duties include the maintenance and repair of select equipment for the Finance and Table Games operations. Slot Technicians are also responsible for all installs, moves, removes, and modifications of all related stands, signage and machines. Slot Technicians need to coordinate with the Slot Operations staff to ensure maximum operating efficiency and they are to promote the company’s goals and values. This position requires performing the job duties throughout the SGC properties as needed. Traveling between or reporting to the other properties is a requirement for this position. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and the Departments policies and procedures. **This position is eligible for a $1000 sign on bonus!** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards. 2. Rebuild parts/equipment during down time; maintain the parts inventory as assigned. 3. Circulate through assigned area performing repairs as necessary. 4. Ensure that all slot/storage areas are cleaned and organized. 5. Responsible for the initial set-up and testing of all new slot products. 6. Complete all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly. 7. Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position. 8. Maintain the integrity of the slot machine equipment and secure all company assets and property at all times. 9. Assist the Finance department by maintaining and repairing currency and currency related equipment. 10. Notify the Cage Shift Managers/Cage Manager of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment. 11. Track and record all finance equipment repairs/maintenance
Note: NY has commercial casinos, tribal casinos, and racinos. Commercial casino employees go through the NYSGC. NYC-area casino licenses are in the licensing pipeline as of 2025.
