THE JOB: As a Cage Cashier, you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and top-notch service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. Licensing Requirements

Michigan
Michigan Gaming Occupational License
Required for employees of the three Detroit commercial casinos (MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity, Greektown). Tribal casinos use their own licensing processes.

Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.

Dealer School Certification
Completion of an accredited dealer school program. Certificates are issued per game (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, etc.). Most programs run 6–12 weeks.

Note: Michigan has both commercial casinos (Detroit) and a large tribal gaming market. Commercial casino employees go through the MGCB; tribal employees go through each tribe's gaming commission.
