Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and or cocktail servers in accordance with departmental procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Promotes superior customer service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Serves alcoholic and other beverages to guests in bars, lounges and other areas as needed. Consistently applies knowledge of state liquor laws including proper identification procedures, monitoring levels of intoxication, intervention strategies, refusal of service, and shutoff procedures. Sets up and breaks down assigned bar in accordance with department policies and procedures. Uses point of sale terminal and completes other cashiering functions. Responsible for the handling all payment methods. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Proven ability to demonstrate collaborative, relationship building, welcoming and mutually respectful behaviors. Previous experience bartending in a high-volume food and beverage setting. A successful candidate must be over 21 years of age. Must be dependable, flexible, and available
