Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to: Process end-to-end U.S. multi-state payroll with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. Calculate and verify payroll adjustments. Process and distribute all applicable payroll reports. Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and timely maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information. Provide general administrative and office support to management and operations. Review and process all incoming paperwork/electronic transactions. Write routing reports and correspondence. Review new or changed pay rates in payroll register or computer files. Administer garnishments, child support orders, and wage deductions across jurisdictions. Post files pertaining to hours worked, deductions, benefits, gratuities and direct deposits into the computer and payroll system in a timely, accurate manner. Ensure the integrity of all financial data produced in payroll. Review system data to determine names, rates of pay and occupations of newly hired employees and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll. Maintain all files and electronically archive Payroll Department reports/files. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Competencies: Includes but is not limited to: At least one year of previous Payroll experience in a similar or related field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel). Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures. At least 18 years of age.
