About the Role

Assists Hub Room Supervisors in setting up events, posting race/sports results, and  changing odds. Coordinates communications between hub room and satellite  properties. Sets up events, posts results, sets up odds for all betting wagering events Assists Supervisors with data entry, research and reporting Assists Supervisors with line changes and odds-making Ensures all computerized betting systems are functional Notifies appropriate personnel of any outages Troubleshoots with vendors Ensures mobile app wagering is functional Communicates results/reports to Management daily Protects company assets Works front line of Race and Sports book when necessary Provides excellent customer service Communicates wagering information to satellite properties • Knowledge of odds and sports betting • Extensive knowledge of sports and horse racing • Extensive knowledge of sports data feeds • Extensive knowledge of computerized risk management systems • Decision-making skills in high pressure situations • Experience with Windows/EXCEL/Word • Basic computer skills including typing ability Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class. Nevada
Nevada Gaming Work Permit
Required for all gaming employees in Nevada. Applied for after hire. Background investigation conducted by the NGCB.
$100–$25028 week process

FBI Background Check / Fingerprinting
Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.
$40–$9026 week process

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
