About the Role

Deal specified poker games according to applicable gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Deal specified poker games in accordance with applicable gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Announce high cards. Respond to announcements of bets, raises, and checks at table. Calculate pips on cards Communicate with guests and staff in a friendly, courteous manner Performance of duties requires sitting for majority of shift and reaching across the poker table for cards and chips. Other duties as assigned by management. Minimum of six (6) months of dealing experience. Excellent communication skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of various poker games inlcuding Omaha and Stud poker. Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Nevada
Nevada Gaming Work Permit
Required for all gaming employees in Nevada. Applied for after hire. Background investigation conducted by the NGCB.

Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.

Dealer School Certification
Completion of an accredited dealer school program. Certificates are issued per game (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, etc.). Most programs run 6–12 weeks.
$500–$3000616 week process

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
