THE JOB: As a Poker Cashier, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations of the gaming floor by facilitating chip redemption and sales for guests and team members. Using your strong attention to detail, you’ll ensure all transactions are completed accurately and securely while maintaining compliance with company policies. THE STARTING RATE: $18 plus tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Perform chip redemption and sales to guests, Poker Runners, and Floor personnel while accurately completing electronic and manual transaction logs and securing all recordable transactions involving company assets. Nevada
Nevada Gaming Work Permit
Required for all gaming employees in Nevada. Applied for after hire. Background investigation conducted by the NGCB.

FBI Background Check / Fingerprinting
Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.

Dealer School Certification
Completion of an accredited dealer school program. Certificates are issued per game (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, etc.). Most programs run 6–12 weeks.

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
