About the Role

Equal parts opulent and cozy, Overlook Lounge, Aperitifs and Spirits is the epitome of timeless European glamour. From its perch atop the Lake of Dreams, this newly designed destination cocktail hideaway beckons with a beguiling menu of aperitifs, spirits and bespoke cocktails inspired by the most iconic figures in fashion, film, history and mythology. As a Host Person at Overlook Lounge, your role will include: Providing superior guest service that is consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company policy and procedure. The Host person is responsible for greeting and seating guests. Will also assist guests with reservations via phone and in-person. Assists Managers with table management to maximize seating. Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner. 1-year of work experience as host person in a high-end restaurant or lounge is preferred. Exhibit phone etiquette, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge (including reservations management system). Requires the ability to multi-task, work efficiently and within a team environment. Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Candidates under the age of 21 years of age will be prohibited from serving alcohol.

Clark County Sheriff's Work Card
Required for all employees working in Clark County (Las Vegas area) gaming establishments. Applied for through the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Renewed annually.

Responsible alcohol service certification. Most states require TIPS, RBS (CA), or equivalent for anyone serving or selling alcohol.

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
