THE JOB: It is the primary responsibility of the Manager to support the Director in planning and organizing resources to perform routine and scheduled functions as well as to respond to business unit questions. The Manager supports the Director in ensuring the team is effectively trained in their assigned processes, work products are appropriately reviewed, and communication on changes, issues or status are appropriately distributed to affected parties. The Manager models the core values of the department in their dealings with others and develops and implements practices that ensure the satisfaction, recognition and engagement of their team members. The Manager works to ensure processes are operating effectively and efficiently, implementing best practices and improvements in a standardized way across all finance related functions. The position supports finance and accounting activities for the company, and will also support continuous improvement initiatives and events. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Possesses knowledge of Shared Services and orients principles into departmental processes and procedures. Evaluate processes across multiple business units for standardization, recommend and integrate improvements. Appraise new business or increased business volumes for optimum way to integrate into processes. Advocates the LEAN Educated program and training amongst the team, implements continuous improvement ideas and encourages participation. Nevada Gaming Work Permit
Required for all gaming employees in Nevada. Applied for after hire. Background investigation conducted by the NGCB.

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
