As a Purchasing Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our buying operations—keeping products flowing, pricing accurate, and vendors aligned. From launching new styles and managing purchase orders to coordinating transfers and supporting vendor partnerships. If you’re energized by behind-the-scenes action and want to grow your career in retail buying, we’d love to meet you! THE DAY-TO-DAY: Prepares master planning settings and purchase order allocations. Monitors and prepares price changes, including markups, markdowns, markup cancellations, markdown cancellations, and any promotional pricing. Processes new styles, new orders, reorders, and special orders. Assists Buyer with vendor set up and compliance paperwork, along with vendor file updates. Coordinates purchase order maintenance, including but not limited to, order confirmation, order modifications, and ticketing requests. Monitors open and back orders providing communication to appropriate business partners. Communicates with internal and external stakeholders on any inbound or outbound retail shipments. Monitors compliance with vendors and notifies supervisor of any concerns.
