Position Summary: An Expeditor is the core support staff member of the restaurant and responsible for table maintenance as directed. Bussing, running food, assisting with wait staff and barback duties as directed. The expeditor coordinates communication between the kitchen and servers, ensuring a seamless and superior guest experience. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Set up and maintain the expedition side of the line. Set up and maintain server station drink receptacles including filling ice. Maintain stock of all NA beverage and paper goods. Bring up requisitions from the cage and warehouse and put items away to ensure organization. Take direction from servers and bartenders to assist in table maintenance. Communicate between the kitchen and the service staff to ensure quality and accuracy of orders. Know restaurant seat table and seat numbers no matter the configuration of tables. Clear, reset, and arrange tables as required. Ensure all sanitation and food safety practices are being followed by the FOH including but not limited to refreshing sanitizer buckets and practicing proper cleaning methods. Possess intimate knowledge off all food offerings to ensure consistency in product. Run food following proper service methods. Prepare left-over food for takeout as needed.
