THE JOB: Parking Attendants at NYNY provide welcoming, efficient valet service to guests, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage when needed, and answering questions about hotel services, events, and attractions. The role also involves monitoring traffic flow at the valet entrance, assisting guests who need special support, and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors or security. THE STARTING RATE: 13.76 Hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1+ years of prior relevant experience preferred Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you
Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
