About the Role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets through vigilant monitoring, rapid emergency response, and adherence to established security protocols. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Conduct systematic patrols throughout hotel, casino, and outdoor areas to identify and mitigate potential security threats, safety hazards, and unauthorized activities in accordance with company policy. Execute patrol duties utilizing multiple modalities, including foot patrols, company-provided bicycles, and vehicles, to ensure comprehensive facility coverage. Respond promptly to emergency situations and security incidents in full compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and departmental procedures. Maintain strict accountability and security protocols for all access keys and security equipment. Document all shift activities, incidents, and observations through accurate completion of required security reports and incident logs. Perform additional duties and special assignments as directed by management to support operational objectives.   **Required Qualifications:** Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to perform extended periods of standing and walking throughout scheduled shifts Physical capability to perform essential functions including lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, and sustained moderate to strenuous physical exertion Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary security certifications and licenses as required by the position and applicable jurisdictions Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, subject to company and insurer approval **Preferred Qualifications:** Prior professional experience in casino security, hospitality security, or related security operations Demonstrated proficiency in security protocols, incident documentation, and emergency response procedures
