THE STARTING RATE: $9.50 per hour, plus tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Guide guest in all phases of their experience at the Banquet event Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas Knowledgeable of service requirements for assigned function such as: pre-function side work, detailed menu selections, major ingredients, appearance, texture, quality standards, garnish and method of presentation, proper food and beverage service Greet guest as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee break, reception and buffet tables for specified functions according to group requirements Follow sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the Banquet Management Team Anticipate the guest needs and respond promptly THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: High school diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a server in a similar, high-volume environment is preferred Availability for day shift, but must be flexible to work nights, weekends and Holidays THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Free meals in our employee dining room.
