About the Role

The Catering and Banquets Driver and Logistics Specialist handles storage and transportation of food and supplies to and from Convention areas using a 20-foot delivery truck and/or an electric cart. They must make sure that supplies and food are correctly stocked and stored, and that these items are appropriately tracked. They will need a good understanding of the rotation of product, FIFO, and food safety. The Driver/Logistics Specialist will ensure storage areas in kitchens are properly organized and sanitary and that deliveries are made in a timely manner. Job Responsibilities: Safely drive and operate a refrigerated truck through high traffic areas The stocking and rotation of incoming goods, verification of quantity/quality and specifications, accurate processing of receiving paperwork, selecting goods for outgoing inventory requisitions, accurate processing of requisition paperwork Must be able to safely transport food on racks, and in hot boxes between convention loading docks and to and from kitchen. Operate pallet jack and lift gate Direct banquet stewarding food runners on where to take product Safely transport, tie down and store food in truck, dry storage areas, freezers, and coolers Communicate with all departments within and outside of Catering and Banquets Deliver Equipment in between properties safely and securely. (Bars, tables, chairs, etc., what management deems appropriate) Routine maintenance and housekeeping of the storage facilities Job Requirements: Must have valid Nevada driver's license Previous experience driving delivery trucks for commercial purposes preferred Flexible schedule Must be able to lift 70 pounds Must be able to push carts long distances Able to safely detach and attach trailer from Cushman carts Must have a valid Clark County Food Handler card Wynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture. Nevada
Clark County Sheriff's Work Card
Required for all employees working in Clark County (Las Vegas area) gaming establishments. Applied for through the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Renewed annually.

Responsible alcohol service certification. Most states require TIPS, RBS (CA), or equivalent for anyone serving or selling alcohol.

Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
