Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and experienced Security Training Manager responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating all Security division training initiatives. Reporting directly to both Security Leadership and Learning and Development and partnering closely with HR and Operations, this role provides leadership, guidance, and operational support to training programs across unarmed Security teams. The position ensures alignment with corporate standards, fosters collaboration across shifts and functions, and champions initiatives that elevate employee performance, guest safety, and service excellence while supporting a culture of improvement and innovation and identifying root causes to drive continuous improvement and meaningful organizational results. Responsibilities Ensures Wynn’s standard of excellence is consistently upheld across unarmed Security training initiatives, including new hire academies, and Field Training Officer (FTO) programs. Applies adult learning theory and proven instructional design processes (e.g., ADDIE) to develop impactful training, leadership content, job aids, and assessments tailored to Security roles. Analyzes trends in training effectiveness across shifts and locations; partners with Security leadership to design scalable interventions that drive performance and consistency. Facilitates Security‑specific training (e.g., new hire academy, FTO/train‑the‑trainer, emergency readiness) and ensures alignment with corporate L&D strategies and compliance requirements. Facilitates, and evaluates the train‑the‑trainer programs (including FTO/instructor development) to build instructional capability across the department. Participates in the interview and selection process for Security candidates, ensuring hiring decisions align with departmental standards, role competencies, and training readiness expectations.
