This includes circulating throughout the casino area assigned and servicing player guests on the Slot machines by redeeming winning voucher tickets, making change for players and assisting players with rules of the game and other general issues. They are also responsible for the payment of jackpots and various minor operational/guest service maintenance of machines. Responsible for cash banks issued and tickets. Assist in the verification and payment of W2G jackpots. Makes change for players. Provides instructions for SLOT play. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times by providing friendly service to players and being available to meet their needs. Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, obnoxious or cheating persons immediately to the supervisor. Reports any SLOT machines that are not working, and affixes an "out of order" card to said machines. Maintains a clean safe area for guests. Pays Jackpots Other duties as assigned. Licensing Requirements

New Jersey
NJ Casino Employee Registration (CER)
Required for most gaming-floor employees in Atlantic City. Includes criminal background check, financial history review, and fingerprinting through the NJDGE.

Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.

Dealer School Certification
Completion of an accredited dealer school program. Certificates are issued per game (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, etc.). Most programs run 6–12 weeks.

Note: NJ has one of the most rigorous licensing processes in the US. A Casino Employee Registration is the standard credential for most gaming-floor workers. Key employees and casino service industry employees need full licenses.
