THE JOB: The Food Dispatcher at Mandalay Bay is responsible for receiving and delivering all food products or food process equipment(s) to the designated kitchen and/or event staging area in a safe and timely manner. With precision, speed, and a commitment to safety, this role keeps the kitchens and event spaces energized and ready to deliver exceptional culinary moments. THE STARTING RATE: $22.6534 THE DAY-TO-DAY: Receives and delivers all food items or kitchen equipment(s) from one to another designated area for the banquet functions in a safe and timely manner even at a rapid speed or under pressure. Keeps and organizes banquet event orders. Reads and understands interdepartmental transfer requisitions. Follows correct inventory control and receiving procedures. Communicates properly and follows direction of Convention Services Team, Room Chefs and Executive Chef THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in a high-volume F&B Venue Excellent knowledge of basic kitchen equipment, Manual & Electric Pallet Jacks/Riders, Motorized Carts, & Delivery Box Trucks Able to read, translate and execute BEO’s including BEO-related F&B requests, interpersonal service skills, organization skills to plan time effectively, work without direct supervision is required Handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and work under pressure and meet deadlines Able to operate a computer and utilize programs such as: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Amadeus, and AS400 Perform complex mathematical functions including multiplicat
