THE JOB: As a Lead Cook at Stalla , you will help bring an elevated dining experience to life through exceptional culinary execution, precision, and teamwork. In this role, you will oversee the operation of assigned stations while supporting a fast-paced kitchen environment focused on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. From handcrafted sauces to beautifully plated dishes, your culinary skill and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences that guests will savor long after their visit. THE STARTING RATE: $19.86 an hour THE SCHEDULE: Full Time | Swing Shift Friday: 1:00pm – 11:00pm Saturday – Tuesday: 2:30pm -10:30pm Off | Wednesday & Thursday Stalla Preview THE DAY-TO-DAY: Lead the daily operation of assigned kitchen stations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and execution during service Communicate with chefs, management, and service staff to fulfill guest requests and address operational needs Expedite and coordinate food production according to par levels and service demands Prepare and execute dishes across multiple stations including sauté, grill, sauce, cold seafood, pastry, and appetizers Maintain strong menu knowledge and follow recipes with precision and attention to presentation Utilize proper food handling procedures and uphold all health and safety standards Support and mentor cooks, pantry workers, and kitchen staff throughout service Maintain knowledge and preparation of base sauces, stocks, and soups Assist leadership in identifying and resolving kitchen issues quickly and effectively THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Holds a High School Diplom

Mississippi Gaming Employee License
Required for gaming-floor employees at Mississippi licensed casinos. Process includes background check and fingerprinting.
