Supporting poker tables with chip fills and assisting players with purchases while delivering great service in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help keep gameplay smooth and enjoyable, all while following company policies and regulatory standards. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Understand the procedures and rules of all poker games and tournaments offered Provide game and tournament information Make exchanges correctly when exchanging money or chips (CHIP RUNNER) Provide accuracy and efficiency to guests at all times Maintain the game list and seat players in games requested Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures Register players for poker tournaments and collect entry fees and registration fees. Licensing Requirements

New Jersey
NJ Casino Employee Registration (CER)
Required for most gaming-floor employees in Atlantic City. Includes criminal background check, financial history review, and fingerprinting through the NJDGE.
$200–$400412 week process

Live-scan fingerprinting submitted to FBI. Required before most state gaming licenses are issued.

Dealer School Certification
Completion of an accredited dealer school program. Certificates are issued per game (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, etc.). Most programs run 6–12 weeks.

Note: NJ has one of the most rigorous licensing processes in the US. A Casino Employee Registration is the standard credential for most gaming-floor workers. Key employees and casino service industry employees need full licenses.
