As a Host Person your role will include: The Host Person is responsible for providing superior guest service that is consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company policy and procedure. Greeting and seating guests. Assisting guest with reservation via phone and in person. Assisting Managers with table management to maximize seating. Assisting guest with special request. Must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner 1-year work experience as host person in a high-end restaurant is preferred. Exhibit phone etiquette, organizational skills, basic computer knowledge (including reservations management system) and food/wine service knowledge. Requires the ability to multi-task, work efficiently and within a team environment. Must be available to work all shifts including day, swing, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Note: Nevada requires a state gaming work permit AND a county sheriff's work card. The sheriff's card is employer-specific in Clark County. Gaming employees must apply for a work permit within 30 days of hire.
